Ground Beef Philly Cheese Steaks
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup sliced onions
- 1 cup sliced green bell peppers
- 1lb grass fed beef
- 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons worchesterchire sauce
- 2 tablespoons Alterna Sweets ketchup
- 1 cup beef or chicken broth

Heat a large cast iron skillet and melt butter. Once pan is smoking hot, add onions, pepper, and mushrooms. Saute for 1-2 minutes. Add ground beef and spices. Cook 3-4 minutes. | |

Add worcestershire sauce, ketchup, and stock. Reduce heat and simmer for 25 minutes until liquid has reduced and veggies are softened. | |

Serve on bread of choice and add provolone cheese if desired. |
