MAY: Peach Thyme Shortcakes

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups Kodiak Cakes all purpose baking mix
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup milk of choice
  • 1 cup peaches
  • 2 teaspoons finely chopped thyme

Directions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
Step 2
Add water, peaches, and chopped thyme to a saucepan set under low heat. Cook for 5-7 minutes until peaches are softened.
Step 3
Add flour, milk, sugar and butter until soft dough forms. Drop 6 spoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet, evenly spread apart. Press small mound in the center of each cake.
Step 4
Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
