Perfect Keto Sesame Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1lb chicken breasts (cut into 1)
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 1/4 cup coconut aminos or soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth or bone broth
  • 3 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 2 Large garlic cloves (finely minced)
  • 2 teaspoons Swerve, golden Lakanto, or keto friendly sweetener of choice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flake
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds

Directions

Step 1
Prepare sauce ingredients by adding coconut aminos/soy sauce, garlic, 1/2 teaspoon salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, sweetener and sesame oil to a small bowl. Whisk to combine. Adjust seasoning and sweetness to taste.
Step 2
Preheat a large wok under medium high heat. Lightly season chicken pieces with 1/2 teaspoon or salt and 1/4 teaspoon of pepper. Sear in pan and toss until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes.
Step 3
Reduce heat and pour in sauce. Add broccoli florets. Toss to coat and let simmer for 3-4 minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Serve over cauliflower rice or alongside vegetable of choice.
