Ingredients

  • 1lb ground beef
  • 1/4 cup flat leaf parsley (finely chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons sherry wine vinegar
  • 1 Small onion (finely chopped)
  • 8oz crimini mushrooms (sliced thin)
  • 1 cup beef stock
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

Directions

Step 1
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, parsley, worcestershire sauce, 1/2 chopped garlic, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are well distributed. Form into 4 equal sized patties.
Step 2
Preheat a pan under medium heat and brown well on each side. Patties do not have to be fully cooked at this point. Remove from pan and set aside.
Step 3
Add butter, olive oil, and sherry wine vinegar to the pan. Add onions, mushrooms, and remaining garlic. Sauté for 5-6 minutes until tender. Add beef stock to pan and deglaze. Scrape any bits off the bottom of pan and stir.
Step 4
Stir in heavy cream and sour cream into pan. Add patties back into pan and cook uncovered for 10-12 minutes until beef is cooked through and sauce has thickened. Garnish with additional fresh parcel if desired.
