Ingredients
- 6 thick slices bacon (cooked, reserve fat)
- 2 cups Kodiak Cakes All Purpose Baking Mix
- 1/4 cup stevia or 5 tbsp of sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cups buttermilk
- 2 Large eggs
- 2 tablespoons butter or ghee (melted)
- 2 cups powdered stevia or powdered sugar (** GLAZE **)
- 2-3 tablespoons water (** GLAZE **)
- 1 teaspoon maple extract (** GLAZE **)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a donut pan (12) with non stick spray or butter. | |

Combine donut ingredients and reserved bacon grease in a large bowl or stand mixer. Mix well until smooth. Pour into pan. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown. | |

Remove from oven and transfer to a wire rack. Let cool. | |

Prepare glaze by adding powdered stevia/sugar, maple extract, and water (add slowly to desired consistency). Pour onto each donut and top with crumbled bacon. |
