Low Carb Flatbread
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup coconut flour
- 2 tablespoons psyllium husk
- 1 Large whole eggs
- 3/4 teaspoons salt
- 1 cup hot water
- 3 tablespoons butter or ghee
Directions
Step 1 | |
Add coconut flour, psyllium husk, and salt in a large bowl. Whisk to combine. Add egg whites and stir well. | |
Step 2 | |
Slowly add hot water, 2-3 tablespoons at a time until a firm dough forms. Let sit for 5 minutes, then form into even balls. Press dough between two sheets of parchment paper until 1/4" thick or desired thickness. | |
Step 3 | |
Preheat skillet and coat with 1/2 tablespoon of butter or ghee. Cook each flatbread 2-3 minutes per side on low-medium heat until golden brown. |
