Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 1 Small onion (thinly sliced)
  • 4 cloves garlic (finely minced or grated)
  • 2 teaspoons ginger (finely minced or grated)
  • 1lb grass fed ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup coconut aminos or soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon stevia, swerve, or keto friendly sweetener of choice
  • 1 tablespoon mirin
  • 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
  • 1 head butter lettuce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup green onion

Directions

Step 1
Heat avocado oil in a large skillet under medium high heat. Add onions, ginger, and garlic, saute for 1-2 minutes.
Step 2
Add ground beef and brown for 3-4 minutes then add sauce ingredients (sesame oil, sweetener, coconut aminos, mirin, and rice wine vinegar). Cook for 5-6 minutes until most of the liquid has dissolved.
Step 3
Serve in lettuce cups and garnish with sesame seeds, and green onions.
