I’ve touched upon this subject before but because I continue to get emails and questions about it and I have changed a few things in my routine, I figured I might as well dedicate an updated post on it!
So, what supplements do I take?
First and foremost, I’m a strong believer that 95% of the supplements out there are a huge waste of money. I personally would rather save those funds and use them for equipment in my home gym & workout room. To me, your commitment, dedication, consistency, hard work and a balanced diet will always yield the results you are after. It may not happen over night, but eventually over time it will happen AND you won’t be out an arm an a leg every month to achieve it. There is no miracle pill to be had. No special creams to be slathered. Nothing you can do to spot reduce problem areas. I assure you, I will forever and always ONLY promote and use products I believe in and really use. No easy way around fitness or reaching your goals!
All that being said, here is my daily nutritional “stack”.
I take these three items EVERY day along with my breakfast.
I eat a TON of fruit and veggies every day but I like these just to make sure I’m getting the micronutrients my body needs! I have been taking this particular one for years and love it.
One thing I do exclude from my “diet” is fish… pretty much all seafood actually. I have ALWAYS hated it and as much as I want to eat and enjoy it, I just can’t. Believe me, I have tried many many times and just gave up. It’s just one of those foods that don’t feel good in my mouth. However, I know that lots of fish contain healthy fats that our bodies can benefit greatly from. In order to get a little of that in me, I supplement with the fish oil. High in Omega 3’s and this particular brand will NOT give you the fishy burps whatsoever. I made sure to find something that will not remind me of fish!

Amino IV– I drink BCAA’s (branch chain amino acids) all morning and then intra workout daily
Norcodrene– taken first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. This product gives me that little boost I need in the morning to get up and start my day. It provides me with the perfect amount of energy as well as helps my mood throughout the day. I only take 1 capsule in the morning but up to two can be taken in the AM and then 5-6 hours later.
Alphamine (thermo, energy, hardening agent)- taken as my pre workout. Unlike other pre workouts I have tried, this one #1 doesn’t hurt my stomach, #2 doesn’t give me the jitters, tingle, or itchy feeling, and #3 doesn’t have any type of crashing effect.
High Volume– If I am feeling a little more sluggish before I workout and/or I’m feeling like I need additional long lasting PUMPS… this is my go to product. Sometimes a girl really likes to see her body change right before her eyes DURING a workout!
Select Protein– SNICKERDOODLE & COOKIES N’ CREAM… truly addictive!!! The whey & Casein blend that doesn’t hurt my sensitive tummy at all AND having the mix provides the BEST baked goods ever.
And last, but certainly not least… this is a product I love and use every single day.
These liquid egg whites by Muscle Egg have changed my baking and smoothie making FOREVER! You can use them in place of any recipes that call for eggs/egg whites but you can also drink them straight from the container…. sounds gross and weird, but the Chocolate literally tastes like a milkshake and Strawberry tastes like the left over milk from a bowl of Fruity Pebbles! Can’t stomach the idea of drinking them like that? No problem. Since I am now back to enjoying smoothies everyday and don’t always feel like adding my protein powder to them (gotta save that yumminess for my baking sometimes lol), using these flavored egg whites gives me that boost of protein AND flavor. Genius and SO delicious!!!!!
Stick with the basics. Train hard. Be consistent. Be patient. Results will come.
