Step 1

| Add water and almonds to a mason jar or large bowl. Soak over night. Drain and then replace water for another 24 hours. |

| Drain water again and rinse almonds. You can remove shells/skin on almonds if you like by gently squeezing them between your fingers. |

| Preheat oven to 200 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Dry almonds and add them to the pan. Massage on oil, liquid smoke, salt, and pepper. |
Step 4

| Bake for 2 hours, turn off oven, and you can let them sit in there to cool and crisp up further if desired. |
