By now you have to be drooling and ready to take a trip to Marie Calendar’s huh? Better yet, next time you are at the grocery store, check out the frozen section… did you know you can find many of the company’s favorites right there at your regular super market? I know my family buys the French Apple pie at least once every few months and while you won’t ever hear me say it’s better than my own homemade version, it’s the next BEST & closest!!! Mmmmm. Pie. And cornbread. Mmmmmm.
OK, now that I have your attention with some of my favorite Marie Calendar’s baked goods, I thought it would also be fun to share some interesting spins on their classic flavors! Of course there is no place better for such research than Pinterest!!! I only started my “Inspired by Marie Calendar’s” board a few days ago, but I seem to be adding just as fast as I can type & click. Here is the first batch of fun spins on Marie Calendar’s #sweetmoments…

Not only do I plan on using the pins on my “Inspired by Marie Calendar’s” Pinterest board BUT I will also be doing ingredient swaps to make everything a bit more nutrient dense. Just a few minor tweaks and the nutritional profiles of ALL these desserts can be made more nutrient dense and a wee bit healthier!!!
Be sure to follow my newest Pinterest board and look out for my own unique spins on everyone’s Marie Calendar’s favorites!
